Stakeholder Wheel
As a senior leader, your ability to get things done depends not just on your ideas, but on the strength of your relationships. The people around you influence your success every day. This exercise is a chance to map those relationships, assess their effectiveness, and reflect on where you might want to invest more energy or intention.
Draw Your Stakeholder Wheel
1. Identify who is on your Stakeholder Wheel
Imagine yourself at the center of a wheel. Around the outer edge, place the key stakeholders in your current role—colleagues, executives, cross-functional partners, direct reports, or anyone whose support or perspective you rely on.
2. Draw your spokes
For each stakeholder, draw a spoke connecting you to them:
A solid line means the relationship feels strong, trusted, and effective.
A dotted line suggests there’s room for more clarity, trust, or engagement.
Take a moment to step back and look at the wheel. Which spokes feel solid? Which relationships feel more fragile or need attention? Are there any key players missing entirely?
We’ll use your insights to explore how you define an effective relationship, how you build trust, and where you want to strengthen connection and influence.
